Made For More
Made for More is a social enterprise determined to drive human creativity, forward-thinking, and social cohesion in order to generate long-lasting, positive change.
How We Are Fighting COVID-19
While we are extremely proud to bring Made for More to life, we wish that the worldwide pandemic brought on by COVID-19 had not been the catalyst. With that in mind, we aim to do everything in our power to utilize our resources, skills, and energy in order to make an impact.
With Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading throughout the United States, the increasing need for personal protective equipment continues to grow. A shortage of PPE/face masks in our country not only impacts medical personnel but countless other "at-risk" individuals.
We recognize that doctors, nurses, and medical personnel are the first priority in receiving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). With a focus on producing a sufficient volume of face masks for medical personnel, other "at-risk" individuals are unlikely to receive the protective equipment, that they also require.
Individuals and organizations that also require protective equipment include homeless shelters, food banks, domestic abuse shelters, long term care facilities, chemotherapy and infusion centers, grocery stores, pharmacies, and many more.
Our goal is to be a catalyst for social cohesion by offering everyone the opportunity to be a part of the solution. Producing a sufficient number of face masks for BOTH medical personnel and other "at-risk" individuals will require the collective effort of everyone who is able.
At Made for More our team is focused on providing as many homemade, unique, and uplifting face masks to at-risk, essential service individuals and community organizations as possible, allowing other organizations to continue focusing on providing medical-grade PPE to doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel.
While Made for More is not a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, our "Face Mask and DIY Face Mask Production Team" consists of local refugee sewers and volunteers providing their dedication, time, and skills. As a social enterprise, our team prides itself on our consistent ability to utilize innovative business practices to further a social cause.
As such, we are proud to state:
All proceeds from Community Hope Face Masks, Personal Use Face Masks and "DIY Face Mask Kit" sales will be utilized to continue producing Face Masks and DIY Face Mask Kits for at-risk organizations, in our effort to combat COVID-19.
We will continue to operate on a "not-for-profit" basis throughout the entirety of the COVID-19 Pandemic and our Face Masks Fighting COVID-19 social project.
Health & Happiness,
Made for More
